This is a rapidly expanding neuroscience institute within a major healthcare network that encompasses multiple subspecialties across the state of Connecticut. The network employs over 2,500 providers across more than 500 practice locations throughout Connecticut, including seven acute care hospitals, thriving community teaching hospitals, and one of the largest physician-led, multi-specialty medical groups in New England. The institute is deeply committed to comprehensive patient care, academics, and research, with a staff of world-class neuroscience leaders spanning vascular neurology, neuromuscular, movement disorders, epilepsy, headache and pain management, sleep neurology, neuro-oncology, neuro-ophthalmology, neurocritical care, cognitive neurology, general neurology, and neurosurgery.

Physician - Neurology

Job Details:

  • BC/BE Sleep Neurologist opportunity supporting comprehensive sleep services in Southeastern Connecticut
  • Provide clinical services at Mystic Neurology and Norwich Neurology clinics
  • Support sleep lab services at Backus Hospital (six-bed lab) and Windham Hospital (four-bed lab)
  • Work directly with the Regional Sleep Medical Director to ensure equitable access to sleep care services throughout the region
  • Dedicated time allocated for reading studies and outpatient clinical care, determined by practice needs
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists including cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, pain management, allergy, urology, radiology, and podiatry
  • Be part of a comprehensive neuroscience institute with a culture of inclusion, innovation, and focus on the highest quality of patient care
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in both Neurology and Sleep Neurology required
