Requirements

• MD/DO

• Board Certified physician in an applicable specialty, including Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics (Med/Peds)

• Active Texas medical license

• Active DEA registration

• Comfortable treating pediatric and adult patients ages three months and older

• Ability to work independently in an urgent care setting

• Ability to perform preliminary X-ray interpretations

• Experience evaluating and managing common acute illnesses and injuries

• Proficiency in minor procedures, including suturing and incision and drainage (I&D) of abscesses

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to provide quality care in an outpatient urgent care setting
