This health system, in partnership with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, is a comprehensive healthcare organization serving Northwest Ohio. The facility offers advanced cardiac and vascular services including stress testing, cardiac catheterization, vascular testing, nuclear medicine, and emergency cardiac care with strong clinical support and collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - Vascular

Job Details:
• Establish and lead a community-based vascular surgery program in partnership with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
• Provide advanced vascular surgical care including abdominal and thoracic aneurysmal disease, carotid artery disease, hemodialysis access, and peripheral vascular disease
• Perform both open and endovascular procedures with medical therapy and non-surgical interventions
• Maintain weekly schedule of 2 clinic days and 3 procedural/surgical days
• Take 10 night/weekend call shifts per month with shared call responsibilities
• Supervise advanced practice providers involved in vascular care delivery
• Work collaboratively with cardiology, interventional radiology, and other specialties
• Participate in program development and future expansion including recruitment and hybrid operating room transition
• Deliver patient-centered care and educate patients and families on treatment options
• Serve as preceptor for medical students, residents, fellows, nursing staff, and allied health professionals
• Opportunity for program leadership based on experience and interest
• Receive clinical faculty appointment with The Ohio State University
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery within 5 years
• Ohio medical license required along with DEA registration
• Clean malpractice and license history required
