The facility offers advanced cardiac and vascular services including stress testing, cardiac catheterization, vascular testing, nuclear medicine, and emergency cardiac care with strong clinical support and collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - Vascular
Job Details:
• Establish and lead a community-based vascular surgery program in partnership with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
• Provide advanced vascular surgical care including abdominal and thoracic aneurysmal disease, carotid artery disease, hemodialysis access, and peripheral vascular disease
• Perform both open and endovascular procedures with medical therapy and non-surgical interventions
• Maintain weekly schedule of 2 clinic days and 3 procedural/surgical days
• Take 10 night/weekend call shifts per month with shared call responsibilities
• Supervise advanced practice providers involved in vascular care delivery
• Work collaboratively with cardiology, interventional radiology, and other specialties
• Participate in program development and future expansion including recruitment and hybrid operating room transition
• Deliver patient-centered care and educate patients and families on treatment options
• Serve as preceptor for medical students, residents, fellows, nursing staff, and allied health professionals
• Opportunity for program leadership based on experience and interest
• Receive clinical faculty appointment with The Ohio State University
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery within 5 years
• Ohio medical license required along with DEA registration
• Clean malpractice and license history required
