Healthcare Organization:
A 155-bed, community-based teaching hospital and multi-specialty regional health system. As a private, not-for-profit organization, the regional health system is nationally recognized for quality, patient satisfaction, and physician engagement. The system features a state-of-the-art Medical Education Center, simulation labs, and a thriving physician group with medical student and resident involvement.

Opportunity: Full Time Vascular Surgery

An ideal candidate is willing to help us expand this service line and is open to taking some general
call. Call is split between four general surgeons.

Candidate must be willing to take some general surgery call.
• We expect the case mix to start out as 60% general and 40% vascular for the first year.
• The types of vascular procedures currently performed at medical center are Carotid
Endarterectomies and Fem-fem bypasses, but all vascular procedures would be an added
benefit to our patients
• Call: Call required 7 days per month; extra pay for extra call; split among general surgery team
• Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm; time split equally between clinic and OR
• Opportunity to precept medical students and residents
• Facility details: Surgery and Medicine Clinic is located within walking distance of the
hospital campus; 24/7 access to physicians’ lounge with meals provided; a 24-hour all-access
employee fitness center; and a state-of-the-art Medical Education Center with simulation
rooms, a conference center, and more.
Requirements:
• Completion or upcoming completion of vascular surgery fellowship
• Required Certifications/Licensures: Board-certified physician or board certification eligible (if
eligible, must obtain board certification within 5 years); Georgia Medical License or participation
in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact

Compensation:
• Salary: Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience; plus, an annual
3% cost-of-living adjustment.
