This is a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) with 18 beds, providing essential surgical services to the surrounding community. The facility offers 24-hour CRNA coverage, around-the-clock lab and imaging services, and strong departmental support to ensure quality patient care in a well-resourced environment.Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery, GeneralJob Details:
- Locum Tenens General Surgery coverage for Calendar Year 2027 with specific dates available across June through December
- General Surgery call coverage 24 hours with a 2-hour callback time requirement
- Call begins at 0500 on the start date and concludes at 0500 on the day following the last coverage date
- Available coverage dates: June 18-20; July 2-4, July 16, July 24-25; August 13-15, August 27-29; September 10-12, September 24-26; October 8-10, October 22-24, October 30-31; November 5-7, November 19-21; December 3-5, December 17-19, December 31
- Perform adult general surgery procedures
- Perform laparoscopic appendectomy and cholecystectomy
- Perform GI endoscopy including upper and lower endoscopy procedures
- ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
- Credentialing timeframe is approximately 30-60 days
- No active Wisconsin license requirement to bid
- Nearest airport is MSP with lodging accommodations available at Boarders Inn
