This healthcare system is a well-established regional medical facility serving the South Texas Gulf Coast community. The facility features a 99-bed department and holds a Level 3 trauma designation, providing a dynamic clinical environment with strong support for locum providers.Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Surgery - GeneralJob Details:
- Provide comprehensive general surgery services with 10 patient encounters per shift
- Perform general surgery procedures on adult patients
- Perform laparoscopic surgical procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty
- Active Texas medical license required - no IMLC accepted
- Board certification required (Certified level minimum)
- ACLS certification required
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
- Locum Tenens engagement with ongoing need
