WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital is seeking locum cardiac surgery coverage for selected weekends from Jan through Mar 2027.
Schedule

Jan 15 at 12p–Jan 18 at 7a.

Jan 22 at 12p–Jan 25 at 7a.
-
Feb 12 at 12p–Feb 15 at 7a.
-
Feb 19 at 12p–Feb 22 at 7a.
-
Mar 26 at 12p–Mar 29 at 7a.
-
Continuous call coverage from Fri noon through Mon morning.
Practice Details
-
Adult cardiac surgery coverage.
-
Rounding and urgent surgical backup after consultation, including cath-lab referrals.
-
Reported average callback: 2–4 hours daily, including rounding.

Stable surgical cases may be deferred until Monday, according to the department.

No TAVRs.

APP support.
-
Epic EMR.
-
163-bed hospital.
Requirements
-
Active PA license.
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Surgery.

DEA required.
-
Minimum one year of experience.

Credentialing: 60 days; temporary privileges possible with a clean file.
Rates
Call pay, included hours, and callback terms discussed individually.
