This is a leading regional medical center and the only hospital in the area supporting a catchment area of approximately 500,000 patients, making it a critical hub for cardiovascular surgical care. The facility offers a dynamic and high-impact work environment with strong support for locum providers and accommodations at a nearby residence inn.Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - CardiovascularJob Details:
- Provide coverage for cardiovascular surgical services due to an existing surgeon's extended medical leave with an unforeseen return date
- Serve as an on-call CV Surgeon for urgent, emergent, and outpatient surgical patients
- Handle 10-12 patient encounters per shift
- May be required to see patients in clinic pending patient volume, not to exceed 10 hours per week
- Must be board certified in Cardiovascular Surgery
- Active Arkansas license or IMLC required to be considered
- ACLS certification required
- Credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days
- Nearest airport is FSM (Fort Smith Regional Airport)
