This is a well-established university hospital located in Detroit, Michigan, offering a robust academic medical environment with strong resident training programs. The facility provides comprehensive diagnostic radiology services and is equipped with modern imaging technology, supporting a high-volume emergency department with overnight radiology coverage.Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine - Radiology-DiagnosticJob Details:
- Remote Diagnostic Radiology coverage for ED night shifts, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM EST
- Minimum of 7 shifts per month required; 2-3 weeks of coverage needed per month
- Average of 80-130 mixed ED cases per 8-hour shift
- 2-3 residents overnight; resident teaching is required
- PACS: Sectra | EMR: Cerner | Dictation: Powerscribe
- Workstation will be provided
- Active Michigan medical license required
- Board certification required (Certified)
- Clean malpractice history required
- Case logs required and must be submitted with bid
- NPDB report pulled within the last 30 days must be submitted at the time of bid
- DEA waiver required; DEA license itself is not required
- BLS certification required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days
