This facility is a well-established hospital located in the Brooksville, FL area, providing a comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional radiology services to the surrounding community. The facility offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule with strong departmental support and access to advanced imaging technology including Powerscribe 4.0.Opportunity:
Interventional Radiologist - RadiologyJob Details:
- Onsite Interventional Radiology and general radiology coverage required Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
- Coverage also required on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve
- 9-hour shifts with a productivity expectation of 40 RVUs per shift
- Must be able to perform Lymphoscintigraphy exams - this is a required skill
- Perform breast biopsies, needle localizations, and sentinel node injections
- Perform Kyphoplasty procedures
- Perform Lumbar Punctures
- Conduct fluoroscopy exams for GI
- Perform liver biopsies, lung biopsies, kidney biopsies, thyroid biopsies, and soft tissue biopsies
- Drain and stent placements in IR
- Expected to read general radiology cases between IR procedures
- Utilize Powerscribe 4.0 for reporting
- No call required
- Estimated privileging timeframe of 60-90 days
Compensation:
