Facility:
This facility is a NACHRI designated children's hospital that serves as part of a comprehensive Duluth medical campus, offering a full spectrum of behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and adults. The Behavioral Health Department provides inpatient psychiatric care, consult-liaison and emergency psychiatry, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization services, and an outpatient behavioral health clinic, all supported by immediate access to pediatric hospitalist consultation, full lab, and imaging services on site.Opportunity:

- Full-time, hospitalist model position within a Child and Adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit
- Opportunity to work a 14 on / 14 off schedule with no outpatient clinic required
- Join a collaborative team of 9 adult and 4 child and adolescent psychiatrists as part of a comprehensive behavioral health program
- Average caseload of 12 children, ages 6-18 years, within a 16-bed Child/Adolescent inpatient unit
- Comprehensive inpatient team includes family therapists, social workers, chemical dependency counselors, and behavioral health techs with robust programming
- Overnight call averages 1 in 8 days
- Access to immediate hospital medical services including pediatric hospitalist consultation, full lab, and imaging services in house
- Affiliated Amberwing facility provides Partial Hospitalization Programming offering state-of-the-art mental health and substance abuse services for children, adolescents, and their families
- On-site Pediatric Occupational Therapy and a Birth to Kindergarten Program available
- BC/BE Child and Adolescent Psychiatry required
