This internationally recognized behavioral health network is one of New England's largest integrated health systems, offering nationally recognized behavioral health services and robust physician leadership support. The facility serves as a major teaching site for multiple universities and provides comprehensive ambulatory psychiatry services across outpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.Opportunity:
Physician - PsychiatryJob Details:
- Serve as Lead Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist providing clinical and administrative leadership for comprehensive ambulatory psychiatry services
- Provide direct patient care across General Outpatient Psychiatry serving preschool through age 25
- Oversee and participate in Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
- Lead clinical operations at the Mary W. Parker Autism Center
- Lead a multidisciplinary behavioral health team including psychology, social work, family therapy, speech therapy, and case management
- Support program development and quality initiatives across clinical operations
- Participate in statewide psychiatric consultation services
- Inpatient call opportunities available
- Teach and mentor Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellows, General Psychiatry Residents, Pediatric Residents, Medical Students, and allied health trainees
- Academic appointment available through the University of Connecticut School of Medicine
- Candidates with expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, pediatric psychopharmacology, and family-centered care are strongly encouraged to apply
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry required
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut medical license required or eligibility to obtain
- Experience in outpatient psychiatric care, clinical leadership, and evidence-based treatment preferred
