TPMG is seeking a Full-time Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physicians with an Interventional Pain or Interventional Spine Fellowship to join our team in San Rafael, CA.

We are seeking a highly motivated physiatrist with interventional pain skills, interested in helping to grow and develop our department within the facility and our region. The San Rafael PMR department has been a pinnacle group demonstrating the multifaceted nature of what physiatry can do. Each one of our current providers has unique talents that allow the group to continue to evolve over time, and it gives the provider the ability to create their own practice style that fits their interests and goals.

The San Rafael Medical center is uniquely located in Marin County; Golden Gate Bridge will get you to San Francisco, Richmond Bridge will get you to Oakland, and the 116 will get you to beautiful Sonoma County and Napa wine country; just to name a few benefits of our location. With plans to build a new hospital, the San Rafael Medical Center will continue to play a leading role for Northern California Kaiser.

Details of the position:

• FTE: 1.0 / Full-time position (M-F). Approximately 3.5 days of clinic, 1 full day of fluoro-guided procedures, and one ½ day for NCS/EMG (this breakdown is a rough estimate and is flexible)
• On clinic days, 10-12 patients per day (mostly in-person, can also include telephone and/or video visit appointments)
• On fluoro procedure days, 10-13 patients per day, slightly varies depending on the procedures scheduled
• Board certified (or board eligible) in PMR AND fellowship training in Interventional Spine (does not need to be ACGME)
• PMR call – night/weekend call to assist with patient workflow for Acute Inpatient Rehab (low volume, predominately home call)

Required procedures

• Cervical and lumbar epidural cortisone injections
• Cervical and lumbar facet joint injections
• Cervical and lumbar medial branch block and radiofrequency ablation
• Sacroiliac joint cortisone injections
• Sacroiliac joint lateral branch block and radiofrequency ablation
• Fluoro-guided hip joint injections
• Ultrasound guided MSK procedures (ex: hip joint, sacroiliac joint, piriformis)
• Nerve conduction studies (NCS)/ Electromyography (EMG)

• Must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or be currently licensed to practice within CA

Full-time annual salary range is $358,512 to $369,600 plus additional potential incentives up to $27,870*. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
