This well-established community hospital operates an 8-bed pediatric unit and is part of a reputable regional healthcare network committed to delivering high-quality inpatient care. The facility maintains a Level 3 Pediatric designation and offers strong departmental support for locum providers.Opportunity:
Physician - Pediatric HospitalistJob Details:
- Provide inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage with no outpatient responsibilities
- 24-hour shifts consisting of 12 hours of in-house coverage (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and 12 hours of beeper-based home call (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), including weekends
- 4-5 patient encounters per shift within an 8-bed unit
- Active Florida license required upon submission
- Board certification required (Certified)
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Credentialing and privileging required prior to start with an estimated timeframe of 60 days
- Licensed in FL or IMLC required to be considered
- Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport and St. Pete Clearwater International
