Facility:

This facility is a state-of-the-art, rapidly growing pediatric hospital featuring a 30-bed pediatric emergency department with volumes approaching 55,000 patients annually. The facility offers robust subspecialty coverage including affiliated Pediatric ICU, CVICU, and NICU teams, along with integrated child life specialists and pediatric social workers to ensure comprehensive patient care. The hospital also provides excellent resident and fellow teaching opportunities in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Board Certified/Board Eligible - Pediatric Hospitalist

Job Details:

  • Provide high-quality pediatric emergency care in a busy, 30-bed pediatric ER with volumes approaching 55,000 patients annually
  • Collaborate closely with Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) physicians, hospitalists, and subspecialty teams
  • Work in a supportive environment with child life specialists and pediatric social workers integrated into ER care
  • Contribute to teaching and mentorship of pediatric, emergency medicine, and family practice residents, as well as Pediatric ER fellows
  • Work full-time, covering twelve 12-hour shifts per month
  • Utilize full scribe coverage to enhance efficiency and patient care quality
  • Engage with affiliated Pediatric ICU, CVICU, and NICU teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics required (within 5 years of residency)
  • Current or recent inpatient hospital experience required
  • Valid Nevada Medical License or willingness to obtain required
  • DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start - no exemptions
  • Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
  • This is a permanent, full-time position requiring residency within the immediate local area; relocation may be required
  • Not accepting Locums or visa candidates
