Optimum has partnered with a hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, with an opening for a skilled Neuropathologist to join their team.
This position offers a balanced mix of clinical and academic work, with a broad caseload, teaching opportunities, and light call responsibilities.
About the Position:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
- 1:2 call rotation, light callback (~1-3 per year)
- Case Types: Brain/spinal tumors, muscle/nerve biopsies, brain autopsies, consult cases, and eyes if interested
- Case Mix: ~80% clinical, ~20% administrative
- Academic-focused, including teaching hours
- Team Structure: Additional Neuropathologist
- Must be board-certified
