Taylor Regional Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Otolaryngologist (ENT Physician) to join our medical staff in Campbellsville, Kentucky. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking to build or grow a comprehensive ENT practice while enjoying the support and resources of an independent, community-owned hospital.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, medical management, and surgical treatment of conditions involving the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. The position offers the opportunity to develop strong relationships with primary care providers and specialists throughout Taylor Regional Hospital's service area while providing much-needed ENT services to patients in Central Kentucky.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and manage disorders of the ear, nose, throat, sinuses, upper airway, and related head and neck structures.
• Perform appropriate office-based ENT procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Perform surgical procedures within the physician's training, privileges, and scope of practice.
• Evaluate and treat common ENT conditions, including chronic sinus disease, recurrent ear infections, tonsillar and adenoid disease, hearing-related concerns, nasal obstruction, and other otolaryngologic conditions.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care for surgical patients.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, pediatric providers, emergency department physicians, hospitalists, and other specialists to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in hospital and practice call coverage as established by the medical staff and department.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Follow established quality, patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in hospital medical staff activities and contribute to the continued growth of ENT services at Taylor Regional Hospital.
• Develop strong relationships with referring providers throughout Taylor Regional Hospital's regional service area.
Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
• Eligible for an unrestricted Kentucky medical license.
• Eligible for hospital medical staff appointment and clinical privileges.
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to practice.
• Current BLS certification and other certifications as required for hospital privileges.
• Excellent clinical, surgical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a community hospital setting.
Working Hours
• Operating Room: Dedicated OR block time will be incorporated into the physician’s regular weekly schedule based on surgical volume and patient needs.
• The physician’s schedule will include an appropriate balance of outpatient clinic and surgical time to support an efficient ENT practice.
• OR scheduling will be coordinated with Taylor Regional Hospital’s surgical services team.
• Call Coverage: To be determined based on department and medical staff coverage needs.
• Schedule designed to promote continuity of patient care while supporting a positive work-life balance.
