TPMG is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Hand/Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our collegial team in South San Francisco. South San Francisco is seeking a fellowship trained Hand Orthopedic Surgeon.

Position Highlights

1. Team Composition: 9 surgeons (3 Hand, 2 Total Joint, 2 Sports, 1 Shoulder, 1 Ortho Oncology), 3 Non-op Sports
2. Collaborative Model: Work closely with 5 experienced Physician Assistants
3. Surgical Focus: Elective Hand Surgery Practice. Procedures can be done in Main OR surgical suite vs. Procedure time in the clinic for appropriate cases.
4. OR Time: 3-4 days per month + additional Elective Procedure time in the office.
5. Call Schedule: ~3-4 days per month (Level 2 and 3 community trauma)

Practice Environment

• Supportive Infrastructure: Large support teams for surgical coordination including Medical Assistants, Surgical Schedulers, Hand Therapists, Surgical assistants, and clinic support staff capable of assisting in office-based procedures.
• Educational and Leadership Opportunities: Rotation Site for Stanford Orthopaedic Surgery residents. Opportunities to get involved with resident training, research, regional projects and collaboration, and leadership.

Requirements:

• Board Certification or Eligibility
• Must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or be currently licensed to practice within CA

Full-time annual salary range is $640,000 to $660,000 plus additional potential incentives up to $83,270*. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
