This is a well-established academic medical center affiliated with a major university health system, providing comprehensive cancer care services in a clinical outpatient setting. The facility is located across the street from a Level 1 Trauma Hospital and is equipped with Epic EMR, offering a collaborative and well-supported environment for oncology providers.Opportunity:
Board Certified - OncologyJob Details:
- Locum Tenens opportunity covering January 11, 2027 through April 1, 2028 for maternity leave and open FTE recruitment
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 0800-1700 (3 days per week)
- No call coverage required
- 100% outpatient clinic setting
- Adult patient population only - no pediatrics
- Average of 17-20 clinic patients per day
- Skills managing different types of cancers and some benign hematology patients required
- EMR/Documentation: Epic
- Board Certification in Oncology required
- Active Michigan State Medical License required
- BLS certification required
- Clean malpractice and license history required - no exceptions
- Copy of NPDB self-query required at presentation (must be pulled within 30 days)
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 100 days
- Flight, lodging, and car rental/fuel or mileage reimbursement provided
