It's conveniently positioned about 2 hours from major cities like the Twin Cities, Fargo, and Duluth.

This facility is part of a physician-led, integrated health system group practice. The cancer center provides comprehensive oncology care with on-site radiation oncology, surgery, interventional radiology & cardiology, and palliative care. The facility has received numerous accolades including recognition as a Community Cancer Program, Accredited Breast Center of Excellence, and is among the Top 100 rural and community hospitals.

Opportunity: Hematologist-Medical Oncologist

Join a team of compassionate oncology experts in a relationship-based care environment. You'll work alongside one other Hematologist/Medical Oncologist with support from genetic counselors, nutrition specialists, social workers, nurse navigators, and other multidisciplinary team members.

Job Details:

  • Consultative call only with hospitalists handling admissions and nighttime coverage
  • Approximately 10 days of call per month
  • Average of 12-15 follow-up visits and 1-2 new patients per day
  • Potential for outreach opportunities after establishing your practice
  • Access to 24-chair on-site Ambulatory Infusion Center
  • Participation in Multidisciplinary Tumor Board Conferences
  • Research opportunities through the NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP)
  • Quarterly professional development meetings with colleagues
  • Collaboration with NP-run High Risk Breast Program & Survivorship Clinic
  • Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in both Hematology and Medical Oncology

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Additional compensation may be available in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
