The center features a 24-chair Ambulatory Infusion Center, on-site Radiation Oncology, and numerous supportive services. The facility has earned multiple accreditations including recognition as a Community Cancer Program and being named among the Top 100 rural and community hospitals.
Opportunity: Hematologist - Medical Oncologist
This exciting opportunity allows you to join a team of compassionate oncology experts in a warm and welcoming setting. You'll be part of a comprehensive hematology/oncology team with access to supportive services including genetic counseling, nutrition support, social work, and specialized care resources.
Job Details:
- Join a team of one existing Hematologist/Medical Oncologist in a physician-led practice
- Consultative call only with hospitalists handling admissions and nighttime coverage
- Approximately 10 days of call per month
- Average daily patient load of 12-15 follow-up visits and 1-2 new patients
- Participate in Multidisciplinary Tumor Board Conferences
- Access to current clinical trials through the NCI Community Oncology Research Program
- Potential for outreach opportunities after establishing your practice
- Work with a 24-chair on-site Ambulatory Infusion Center averaging 40 patient visits per day
- Strong ties with a tertiary referral center
- Quarterly meetings with Hem/Onc providers across the system
- Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in both Hematology and Medical Oncology
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Additional compensation may include bonuses, quality incentives, and production-based compensation opportunities.
