This facility is part of a physician-led, integrated health system group practice. The cancer center features on-site Radiation Oncology, Surgery, Interventional Radiology & Cardiology, and Palliative Care services. The facility has earned numerous accreditations including recognition as a Community Cancer Program and National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers by the American College of Surgeons, and was named among the Top 100 rural and community hospitals.

Opportunity: Hematologist/Medical Oncologist

Join a team of compassionate oncology experts in a comprehensive, relationship-based care environment. You'll be part of an esteemed team within a warm and welcoming setting dedicated to supporting cancer patients throughout their journey.

Job Details:

  • Consultative call only - hospitalists handle admissions and nighttime coverage
  • Approximately 10 days of call per month
  • Average patient load of 12-15 follow-up visits and 1-2 new patients daily
  • Access to supportive services including genetic counseling, nutrition support, social work, and nurse navigation
  • Opportunity to participate in Multidisciplinary Tumor Board Conferences
  • Work with a 24-chair on-site Ambulatory Infusion Center administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive medications
  • Access to clinical trials through the NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP)
  • Regular quarterly meetings with Hem/Onc providers and mentorship opportunities
  • Potential outreach opportunities after establishing your practice
  • Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Additional compensation available in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
