**Facility:** This comprehensive cancer center is the largest cancer care program in Northern Minnesota, Northwestern Wisconsin, and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The facility is accredited as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program and by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers by the American College of Surgeons, demonstrating their commitment to excellence in patient care.
**Opportunity:** Hematologist/Oncologist or Medical Oncologist - Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncology.
**Job Details:**
- Join a collaborative team of 10 providers (8 physicians and 2 advanced practice clinicians) using an interdisciplinary approach to patient care
- Provide care at the main campus clinic overlooking Lake Superior, at an outreach cancer center, and consultative services in the hospital
- Access cutting-edge treatments, latest technology, and current oncology clinical trials
- Participate in the NCI Community Oncology Research Program with industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated trials
- Work in a thriving intellectual environment with multiple tumor board and multidisciplinary conferences
- Average daily patient load includes 12-14 follow-up visits and 1-2 new patients
- Benefit from hospitalist coverage for admissions and night calls
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system
- Collaborate with specialty services including Medical Hematology/Oncology, Pediatric Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Oncologic Surgery, Interventional Radiology, Palliative Care, and Hospice
- Serve a regional population of approximately 460,000
