This hospital is a well-established acute care facility serving the greater Fredericksburg region, featuring a 16-bed department and a Level 2 trauma designation. The facility provides a strong clinical environment with robust support for locum providers and a comprehensive women's health services program.Opportunity:
Physician - Obstetrics and GynecologyJob Details:
- Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services with 16-20 patient encounters per shift
- Manage both low and high risk pregnancies
- Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
- Conduct routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps deliveries
- Exercise clinical decision-making for cesarean sections
- Manage complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
- Must hold an active Virginia license or IMLC licensure
- Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible)
- BLS certification required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
- Locum Tenens assignment, ASAP start with ongoing need
- Preferred hotel accommodations available
