Facility:
This is a well-established, hospital-based facility operating at a Level I Trauma designation, offering a dynamic and high-acuity environment for specialist providers. The facility utilizes Epic as its documentation system and supports a robust gynecologic oncology program with both clinic and OR-based care for an exclusively adult patient population.Opportunity:
Board Certified / Board Eligible - Gynecology OncologyJob Details:
- Full-time, hospital-based Gynecologic Oncologist coverage in Lansing, MI
- Approximately 20 patients in clinic per day; 3-4 OR cases per day when in OR
- Perform clinic and in-patient consults
- Perform GYN oncology surgical cases
- Oversee chemotherapy discussions - currently transitioned to medical oncology
- Call ratio of 1:4; on-call and weekend coverage required
- 100% adult patient age demographic
- Documentation via Epic EMR
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology required; Board Eligible providers must have a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Active Michigan State Medical License required; IMLC or compact license not accepted
- BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications required
- Clean malpractice and license history required
- Copy of NPDB self-query required at presentation (must be pulled within 30 days)
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days; temps are not available
- Facility reimburses flights, lodging, and rental car/fuel or mileage billed at the IRS standard rate
