Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of 8 physicians at UF Durbin Park Hospital.
• Brand new, state-of-the-art, 150-bed hospital slated to open in September 2026.

Qualifications:

• ABIM- or ABFM-certified with prior hospitalist experience.
• Requires a minimum of 1 year of recent, previous hospitalist experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• This position does not sponsor J-1 or H-1 visa waivers.

Scheduling:

• 7-days-on, 7-days-off scheduling with flexibility for time off, e.g., attending conferences, vacation, etc.
• Opportunities for moonlighting bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cross-coverage calls on an ADC of 30-40 with 8 admissions/night.
• Help support the hospitalist team’s efforts in utilization management, compliance, clinical documentation improvement, and patient satisfaction at UF Durbin Park.
• Collaborate with the hospitalist Director on performance improvement initiatives such as length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance. Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings.
• Closed ICU with 24/7 Intensivist.
• No procedures.
