Opportunity: Unit Director – Department of Neurology. Leadership-focused inpatient neurology role combining clinical excellence with operational oversight, quality improvement initiatives, and team development within a highly ranked academic health system.
Details:

Escalate and address inpatient service-related issues

Manage and collect quality metrics data and develop action plans (zero harm, HRO, patient experience, HAC initiatives)

Attend morning rounds and coordinate inpatient care

Oversee inpatient-related discussions at neurology meetings, conferences, and faculty meetings

Improve workflows between inpatient service and APP team, including H&P documentation, billing, and education
-
Collaborate with nurse managers, social workers, Stroke and NICU divisions, Emergency Medicine, and Neurosurgery to enhance workflows

Address patient concerns regarding inpatient care team services

Assist in resident, medical student, and APP training, education, and evaluation

Support faculty and resident research initiatives

Develop faculty/APP schedules and backup coverage

Evaluate faculty and APP performance
Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology

Vascular fellowship preferred but not required
Compensation:

Highly competitive guaranteed base salary plus bonus/incentive compensation

Compensation commensurate with clinical experience, leadership background, quality metrics expertise, patient satisfaction, and resident training experience
