Healthcare Organization:
A 155-bed, community-based teaching hospital and multi-specialty regional health system. As a private, not-for-profit organization, the regional health system is nationally recognized for quality, patient satisfaction, and physician engagement. The system features a state-of-the-art Medical Education Center, simulation labs, and a thriving physician group with medical student and resident involvement.
Opportunity: Full Time Neurology
• Clinic schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
• Call: Call required 7 days per month. Extra pay for extra call
• Opportunity to precept medical students and residents
• Clinic Facilities: Neurology and Neuroscience Clinic is located within short driving
distance of the hospital campus (3 minutes); 5 exam rooms and 1 procedure room
• Patient Volume: ~15-20 patients per day
• Procedures: EMGs, EEGs, and Botox; Trigger point injections/occipital nerve blocks are also
performed. Open to performing other procedures such as LPs or carpal tunnel injections
Requirements:
• Completion or upcoming completion of neurology residency
• Required Certifications/Licensures: Board-certified physician or board certification eligible (if
eligible, must obtain board certification within 5 years); Georgia Medical License or participation
in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact

• Computed Tomography Scan (CT or CAT scan)
• Electroencephalogram (EEG)

• Electrodiagnostic Tests, such as electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction velocity (NCV)
• Positron Emission Tomography (PET)
• Arteriogram (Angiogram)
• Spinal tap (Lumbar Puncture)
• Evoked Potentials
• Myelogram
• Neurosonography
• Ultrasound (Sonography)
Compensation:
• Salary: Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience; plus, an annual
3% cost-of-living adjustment.
