Optimum is proud to partner with an academic facility in southern Florida that has an opening Medical Director of the Living Kidney Donor Program.

About the Position:
- Schedule: Day shifts, Monday-Friday
- Call Requirement: 1:4 beeper call rotation, light volume
- Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
- Annual Volume: 300-350 kidney transplants
- Living Donors: 40-50 patients annually
- Will conduct outreach to nephrologists in the community to target/educate transplant candidates and their families about living donors
- Breakdown: 90% transplant nephrology, 10% admin
- Team Structure: 8 MDs, full support structure/office staff
- EMR: Epic
- Board certification required
