This large, teaching outpatient clinic is adjacent to a major medical center and is affiliated with a well-regarded School of Medicine. The facility serves a diverse urban population in a mission-driven, community-based setting with strong collaboration between residency leadership and interdisciplinary teams.Opportunity:
Physician - Primary CareJob Details:
- Full-time Academic/Faculty Internal Medicine Physician position within an Outpatient Internal Medicine Faculty Clinic
- 90% Clinical Precepting / 10% Administrative responsibilities
- No independent patient panel - clinical work is performed predominantly with internal medicine residents
- Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends and no call
- Academic faculty appointment at an accredited School of Medicine
- Oversee patient care in collaboration with internal medicine residents and play a key role in shaping the next generation of physicians
- Approximately one half-day per week of protected administrative time
- Mission-driven, community-based practice serving a diverse urban population
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine required
- MD or DO with unrestricted State of Connecticut medical license (or eligible)
- Passion for medical education, teaching, and mentorship strongly preferred
