An organization is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician in Newark, New Jersey to provide ambulatory primary care within a Department of Medicine setting. This role focuses on patient care in a full-time weekday schedule with no on-call responsibilities.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Setting: Primary Care / Ambulatory
Responsibilities:
- Provide internal medicine care for adult patients in an ambulatory setting
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of primary care and medical conditions
- Maintain a patient volume of approximately 18 to 22 patients per day
- Document patient encounters and manage care plans in Epic
- Coordinate care with other providers and support continuity of care within the department
Qualifications:
- Board certification in Internal Medicine
- Experience providing ambulatory or primary care in an outpatient setting
- Ability to manage a weekday full-time patient schedule
Desired Skills:
- Experience using Epic
- Familiarity with department of medicine workflows
