A healthcare network in New York City is seeking a licensed Primary Care Physician in Brooklyn to provide comprehensive adult primary care in a fast-paced clinic setting.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm (with one day extending to 8pm and one day ending at 4:30pm)
- Setting: Outpatient clinic
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate therapies
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Provide preventive care, screenings, patient education, and care coordination
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Current unrestricted New York State medical license
- Active New York State DEA registration
- Active Medicaid enrollment
- BLS certification
- Prior experience using EPIC
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient environment
- Ability to complete charting and clinical documentation by the end of each workday
Desired Skills:
- Primary Care experience
- Experience in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Experience managing high patient volumes while maintaining quality care
- Comfort working with other EMR systems
