A New York City health services organization is seeking a licensed Physician with an Internal Medicine background for a promising opportunity with their Primary Care team at one of their outpatient practices in Manhattan.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm
- Setting: Outpatient clinic
- Target start date: November 2026
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care to adult patients
- Perform patient evaluations, physical examinations, and ongoing follow-up care
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain timely clinical records in EPIC
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Current unrestricted New York State medical license
- Active DEA registration
- Active Medicaid enrollment
- BLS certification
- Proficiency with EPIC and timely clinical documentation
Desired Skills:
- Primary Care experience
- Background in Family Medicine
- Experience in a fast-paced outpatient setting
- Experience managing patient volume efficiently
