Facility:
This is a well-established outpatient health center located in the Southeast Dallas area, serving an established geriatric patient population within a clinic-based setting. The facility is associated with a Level I Trauma Center and utilizes Epic EMR, providing physicians with strong clinical infrastructure and community-focused care.Opportunity:
Physician - Geriatric MedicineJob Details:
- Full-time permanent outpatient geriatrics physician position available due to physician replacement
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
- 100% outpatient, clinic-based practice
- Average daily patient volume of 16-18 patients
- Care for an established senior patient population with a broad range of geriatric health concerns
- Manage chronic and complex conditions commonly seen in geriatric patients
- Provide general outpatient geriatric evaluation and management
- Deliver preventive care and chronic disease management services
- Call coverage required via beeper/phone only, approximately one week per year including after-hours and weekend call during the assigned call week
- EMR system: Epic
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required
- Active Texas Medical License required
- Minimum of one year of post-training physician experience required
- General outpatient geriatrics experience required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 4 months; temporary privileges not available
- Local candidates preferred
