This facility is part of Connecticut's largest integrated health care system, featuring a physician-managed, multi-specialty group with a network of more than 600 providers. The system includes seven acute care hospitals and has built an excellent reputation for best-in-class service and dedication to healing, including affiliation with the Memorial Sloan Kettering Alliance.Opportunity:
Physician - Infectious DiseaseJob Details:
- Provide inpatient consultations at an acute care medical center
- Manage outpatient office responsibilities including HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment
- Assist with the Antimicrobial Stewardship program
- Support infection control activities and hospital epidemiology programs
- Collaborate system-wide with over 20 Infectious Disease physician colleagues
- Participate in post-graduate medical education for residents and medical students
- Eligible for appointment at the Assistant Professor level at Quinnipiac University
- No primary care responsibilities
- Active Hospitalist program in place to support inpatient care
- Shared call arrangement with other Infectious Disease physicians
- Reports to the Division Director of Infectious Disease
- BC/BE Infectious Disease physician licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of CT
