Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group (FPG) is seeking Board-Certified Internal Medicine physicians to join its growing Medical Hospitalist team. Located on Florida’s beautiful Gulf Coast, Sarasota offers nationally recognized beaches, excellent schools, outstanding dining, arts and culture, and an exceptional quality of life.

The Medical Hospitalist Group is comprised of 90+ physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) known for their collaborative approach, strong clinical support, and commitment to fostering a collegial and supportive work environment.

Sarasota Memorial is a nationally recognized, not-for-profit health system with two acute-care hospitals, including its flagship 897-bed Sarasota campus and its growing Venice campus. The system provides comprehensive services across multiple specialties, including cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, neuroscience, and behavioral health.

Position Highlights:

• Positions available for immediate hire.
• Day shifts: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., shifts are 12-hours in-house.
• No after-hours call is required – physician coverage is provided for every shift.
• Flexible scheduling: 15 shifts per month / 179 shifts annually.
• ICU patients are covered by the Intensivist group.
• No procedures required.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
• Minimum of two years of experience required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records (EHR) preferred.
• Active Florida medical license preferred; physicians willing to obtain Florida licensure are encouraged to apply.
