This premier Bay Area hospital is home to a Level II NICU with Medical Director support and Maternal-Fetal Medicine support from a world-renowned academic institution. The facility delivers approximately 1,200 births annually and fosters a highly collaborative care environment alongside community OB/GYNs and dedicated nursing teams, with strong hospital administration and clinical infrastructure in place.Opportunity:
Board Certified - Obstetrics and Gynecology HospitalistJob Details:
- Join a brand-new OB-GYN Hospitalist program launching 11/1/2026 - help define workflows, culture, and clinical excellence from day one
- Seeking four OB-GYN Hospitalists plus one OB-GYN Hospitalist Medical Director to build and shape this exciting service line
- 24-hour, in-house shifts providing predictable scheduling and work-life balance
- Team structure of five OB-GYN Hospitalists working collaboratively
- Clinical scope includes OB and GYN triage and surgery, labor and delivery management, obstetric and gynecologic emergencies, and inpatient consults
- Medical Director opportunity available for candidates with prior leadership experience - responsibilities include clinical leadership, program development guidance, and quality initiative oversight
- Weekend coverage required
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
- Active California license required (or in process)
- Minimum five years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to thrive in a team-based model required
- Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
- DEA required prior to start
- Potential for moving relocation allowance and sign-on bonus
