Core Clinical Partners is seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Director to lead our Hospital Medicine program at Upson Regional Medical Center. This is a full-time, W-2 leadership role with both clinical and administrative responsibilities. As Medical Director, you will play a key role in program leadership, clinician engagement, and collaboration with hospital administration, while maintaing a clinical presence to support quality patient care. Facility Highlights:
- 1 Day Hospitalist Physician (7a-7p)
- 1 Day NP/PA (7a-7p)
- Dedicated Nocturnist NP/PA (7p-7a)
- Average Daily Census: ~30
- 115-bed community hospital
- 10-bed Open ICU with tele-intensivist support
- EMR: Meditech Expanse
Position Overview:
- Leadership - Provide oversight, mentorship, and guidance for a team of day hospitalists and APPs.
- Clinical - Balance of clinical shifts and protected administrative time.
- Scheduling - Standard 7on/7off moded, with flexibility in administration coverage.
- Engagement - Partner closely with Core and hospital leadership to maintain program stability, quality metrics and clinician satisfacation.
- Collaboration - Work in tadem with Emergency Medicine leadership to ensure coordinated patient care.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Prior Hospital Medicine leadership experience required
- Active Georgia medical license; or eligible to obtain Georgia medical license
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, collaborate with administration and drive quality outcomes
- ACLS required
