Hospitalist Opening in Boston Area Rehab Hospital – No Nights or Weekends

A nationally recognized rehabilitation hospital in the Boston area is adding a Hospitalist. About the Opportunity:

• This is a full-time position in a 180-bed long-term acute care facility
• This is a community-based, non-academic role focused on clinical excellence in a collaborative environment
• The hospitalist will manage a panel of medically fragile patients with support from physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, nursing, pharmacy, therapy, case management, and specialty consultants
• Serve as attending physician for medically complex and post-acute rehab inpatients
• Conduct daily rounds and manage care for a typical panel of 10–14 patients per day
• The schedule is Monday through Friday
• No nights or weekends
• No overnight shifts; nocturnist coverage in place
• Ability to sign up for moonlighting shifts (nights or weekends) as available
