• Practice alongside five hospital medicine physicians committed to improving outcomes for the community we serve.
• We are an integral part of the hospital and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and providing Emergency Medicine services in addition to Hospital Medicine.
• Our team actively participates in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.
• Outside of work, we come together for social events to celebrate special occasions and share common interests like food and sports.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine. Family medicine can be considered with demonstrated hospitalist experience.
• Ability to manage ICU patients without intensivist backup.
• Procedural competency preferred.
• Experience is preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply.
• We proudly sponsor J1 visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support. All required filing fees for the visa are covered by Sound.

• Flexible scheduling is available. Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing inpatient care to a small, acute care hospital with an open ICU and minimal subspecialty support.
• Deliver exceptional care in a community-centered practice where your expertise helps shape better outcomes for the patients who need it most.
• Manageable census and opportunity to practice with autonomy.
• Candidates must be comfortable with vent management and responding to rapid responses and codes.

Rewards and Compensation:

• Annual compensation between $340,000 and $400,000 plus incentives depending on shift obligation.
• Sign-on bonus of $30,000.
• Relocation assistance provided.
• Comprehensive benefits package including paid malpractice, tail coverage, 401K with matching contributions, and annual CME allowance.
