Board Certified or Board Eligible - Physician - Hospitalist - OB
Job Details:
• Full-time position consisting of 7.5 24-hour shifts per month • Part-time option available at 5.5 24-hour shifts per month (still benefits eligible) • Must have an active Texas license or be in the process of obtaining one • Handle annual delivery volume of 1,924, with 96 vaginal and C-section deliveries performed by hospitalists • Manage a 40% C-section rate in the delivery caseload • Oversee 2,296 unscheduled outpatient OB/GYN triage visits annually • Conduct 1,229 OBED consults each year • Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a Level II NICU setting • Work with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies • Perform OB triage, admissions, attend deliveries, and provide inpatient care • Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage • Cover the OB floor and handle ER consults for GYN emergencies • Assist in surgical procedures during Cesarean sections • Respond to emergencies in the labor and delivery unit • Position requires residency within the immediate local area • DEA must be obtained prior to start • Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred • Not accepting Locums or visa candidates

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
