A large and rapidly expanding non-profit health system in western Massachusetts has an opening for a Palliative Care Physician. This system-wide position will be active in the Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Care across four hospitals and multiple primary care practices. The ideal candidate should have a desire to work in a highly collaborative and cross-disciplinary environment with a strong team focus and interest in academics.


About the Opportunity

  • The Palliative Medicine team includes 4 palliative care physicians, 5 advanced practitioners, one social worker, and a strong support staff.
  • Faculty appointment with protected time for clinical innovation, educational program development, teaching, and grant activities. Ability to participate in conferences and lectures, teach our palliative medicine fellows, and participate in research/QI projects.
  • Members of the Palliative Care Quality Collaborative (PCQC) program at a Premier level.
  • Inpatient and outpatient palliative care programs.
  • No call.
