This comprehensive cancer care facility is part of a leading healthcare system that provides world-class oncology services across southern Colorado. The facility features an established, high-performing team of 12 physicians and 8 advanced practice providers, supported by a robust multidisciplinary team including nurse navigators and social workers, all focused on delivering compassionate, patient-centered cancer care.
Opportunity:
Physician - Hematology Oncology
Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care in outpatient and affiliated clinic settings
• Join an established practice with 12 physicians, 8 APPs, and comprehensive multidisciplinary support team
• Deliver dedicated outreach services approximately 6 days per month to rural clinics in Lamar and Trinidad
• Travel 2-3 hours from Colorado Springs to support rural communities with specialty cancer care access
• Collaborate with comprehensive cancer center team for coordinated patient care
• Practice within a physician-led medical group focused on innovation and high-quality outcomes
• Utilize EPIC EMR system implemented system-wide
• Participate in flexible four-day work week model
• Share limited call responsibilities within the group
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered cancer care programs
• Must be Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology
• Colorado medical license and DEA license required prior to start
• Must be willing to provide rural outreach services
• Visa support not available for this position
• BLS certification required
