Job Description

The University of Missouri School of Medicine and MU Health Care are nationally recognized leaders in clinical care, education, and research. The Ellis Fischel Cancer Center (EFCC) and the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology within the Department of Medicine are dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered cancer care while advancing the field through cutting-edge research and training the next generation of oncologists. Ellis Fischel Cancer Center has been offering advanced cancer care since it opened its doors in 1940.

Ellis Fischel Cancer Center at the University of Missouri is a 100,000-square-foot facility dedicated to delivering compassionate, comprehensive cancer care. Located within University Hospital, the center features advanced technology—including digital mammography and precision radiation therapy—private smart inpatient rooms, and calming clinic spaces overlooking the Brown Family Healing Garden. The Ellis Fischel Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office (CTO) serves as a cornerstone of our research mission, supporting over 180 active clinical trials across MU and more than 20 interventional studies within Ellis Fischel. Backed by leading research infrastructure such as the MU Research Reactor (MURR) and the Roy Blunt NextGen Precision Health Building, Ellis Fischel combines cutting-edge science with patient-centered care from diagnosis to survivorship. This unique leadership opportunity is supported by the Frances T. McAndrew Chair in Oncology Endowment, which provides resources for leadership in oncology clinical research, education, and patient care.
