This well-established hospital system serves the Fort Wayne region and operates across multiple campuses, providing comprehensive inpatient and specialty care services. The facility features a 99-bed department with dedicated support staff including APPs, rounding nurses, and a full GI team to ensure excellent patient care and provider support.Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - GastroenterologyJob Details:
- Locum Tenens coverage from December 25th through January 1st at 7 AM
- Physician will be on call for 24 hours, seven days in a row
- Responsible for consults, inpatients, and transfers across two hospital campuses
- Approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
- Must be ERCP trained - Required
- ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) - Diagnostic and Therapeutic: Required
- Must hold an active Indiana license, CSR, and DEA to be considered
- Must be Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- ABLS and BLS certifications required
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 30-45 days
- Support staff includes APPs, rounding nurses, and full GI team
- Nearest airport: Fort Wayne Airport
