Healthcare Organization:
A 155-bed, community-based teaching hospital and multi-specialty regional health system. As a private, not-for-profit organization, the regional health system is nationally recognized for quality, patient satisfaction, and physician engagement. The system features a state-of-the-art Medical Education Center, simulation labs, and a thriving physician group with medical student and resident involvement.

Opportunity: Full Time Gastroenterology

• Clinic schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM; Weekly duties are equally split
between outpatient clinic and inpatient endoscopy procedures in hospital
• Call: Required call 7 days per month (one week/month) shared with general
surgeons and fellow gastroenterologist; Extra pay for extra call.
• Patient Volume: ~25 patients per day in clinic; 10 consults/15 procedures per day
at the hospital
• Opportunity to precept medical students and residents
• Clinic Facilities: Sterling Center Surgery and Medicine Clinic is located within short
walking distance of the hospital campus. The newly renovated practice includes
support from an experienced gastroenterologist and an FNP-C.
Requirements:
• ERCP required
• EUS preferred
• Completion or upcoming completion of gastroenterology fellowship
• Required Certifications/Licensures: Board-certified physician or board certification
eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 5 years); Georgia Medical
License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
Diagnostic services and treatments:
• Colonoscopy (Cancer Screening)
• Upper Endoscopy
• Capsule Endoscopy
• ERCP Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography
• Bravo 48-Hour pH Monitor
• Percutaneous Gastrostomy
• Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
• Radio-frequency Ablation of Barrett’s

Compensation
:
• Salary: Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience; plus, an annual
3% cost-of-living adjustment.
