A healthcare organization Connecticut is seeking a Family or Internal Medicine Physician at one of its facilities in Hartford County.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
- Hours: 24 hours per week; ideally 10 hours on Monday and Friday, and 4 hours on Wednesday afternoon
- Setting: Outpatient primary care
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient primary care for adult patients
- Deliver comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for common primary care needs
- Work collaboratively with medical assistants and other clinical support staff
- Maintain an efficient patient flow while delivering high-quality care
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Experience providing outpatient primary care to adult patients
- Ability to work the scheduled weekday hours in the outpatient setting
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in a community-based medical group
- Comfort managing a steady patient volume in an ambulatory environment
- Experience collaborating with on-site clinical support staff
