A recognized health services network in New York City is seeking a licensed Physician to join their primary care practice in Manhattan.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 32-35 hours of patient care per week
- Setting: In-person
Responsibilities:
- Manage a patient panel with a wide range of acute, chronic, and preventive care needs
- Provide in-office care, including visits in testing centers and occasional telehealth visits
- Collaborate with in-office teammates and virtual clinical teams through daily huddles and ongoing communication
- Participate in weekly clinical rounds and ongoing professional learning opportunities
- Use clinical training to perform appropriate in-office procedures and deliver evidence-based primary care
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in or completed an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program
- At least 2 of the last 5 years of practice in an outpatient primary care setting
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within one year of start date
- State medical license obtained by the start date
