Practice meaningful medicine in the heart of the Black Hills.
Join Oyate Health Center, a tribally owned and operated health center serving American Indian and Alaska Native communities in Rapid City. The center is managed by Great Plains Tribal Health on behalf of the Oglala Sioux Tribe, Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, and Rosebud Sioux Tribe.
Job Responsibilities
• Medical Conditions Managed: Treatment of common acute illnesses, minor injuries, and chronic conditions.
• Procedures and Collaboration: Minor procedures like suturing and wound care, with collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team and transfer of higher-acuity cases to emergency services.
Qualifications
• Preferred Qualifications: Commitment to providing compassionate, culturally respectful care.
Working Hours
Ideal Shift: 11:00 AM–7:30 PM with weekend rotation
Alternative: 3x12-hour shifts with weekend rotation may be available
Clinic Hours: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Skills
Providers have access to pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, CT, MRI, ultrasound, behavioral health, pediatrics, women's health, nutrition services, and additional specialties, with RN care managers, case management, scheduling, and CMA/LPN support.
