We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to the adult population within our community health center. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive primary care services, managing chronic conditions, and promoting preventive health in a collaborative, team-based environment.

We welcome physicians with at least one year of experience, as well as new graduates who have recently completed residency training and are passionate about serving diverse and underserved populations.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions
• Conduct routine check-ups, health screenings, and preventive care visits.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health, and care coordinators.
• Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care programs.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (post-residency), but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Active DEA license
• Strong commitment to community health and serving underserved populations

Working Hours

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
